Episode 50 - Mental Health Check-In: What to Do When You Don't Know What to Do

Each month, Still Becoming brings you a Mental Health Check-In episode. These episodes are focused on mental health, emotional health, or personal growth, and involve a short teaching and a few take aways in around 15 to 30 minutes. The idea is to take a therapeutic topic or technique and expand it to help us in our everyday lives.

This month we are talking about what to do when you don't know what to do. It would be predictable to give you a 5 step plan to "making your best decisions." But I know that therapy, and therefore a podcast by a therapist, is not about advice, You can get that so many other places. This episode is about returning to and listening in to the places and choices that help you when you have lost your way, or when you don't know what to do next. Many of us may feel like that right now. And when things are hard, making decisions feels even more difficult. Listen in to this episode, which is short on purpose, and make space for both permission and presence as you face whatever it is you are facing.

The In-Between
Still Becoming with Monica DiCristina
Still Becoming is a podcast about how it's never too late to become more free, more yourself, or try something new. We are all in the process of becoming more or less of something, of growing into ourselves. Informed by her own journey of struggling through anxiety to now working with others as a psychotherapist, Monica DiCristina interviews people about their stories of overcoming and becoming, or starting something new, as well as experts we can all learn from. We are not designed to stay the same, we are all still becoming.
