New from Monica DiCristina
Hello!
I am so excited to begin sharing with you all new resources, writing, and features in addition to the Still Becoming podcast episodes!
My new website is finished, please let me know what you think! Now all articles, features, and resources will be cozy all together in one spot.
All the Best,
Monica
I have a couple new articles featured recently that I would love to share with you!
My article for Darling Magazine about the importance of white parents raising white children to fight racial injustice.
I got to participate in a Round Table Discussion with Darling about the value of dialogue among opposing views.
Finally! A whole new season of Still Becoming Kids episodes. I cover lots of topics from waiting out Coronavirus, to how the holidays might be different, to the comforting reminder that God is not afraid even when you are.
(Sneak peek: New Still Becoming Episode out today on the importance of loving yourself as you love on others during the Holidays).
I'm loving this quote right now, may it be a reminder as we love our neighbors and ourselves:
“Compassion asks us to go where it hurts, to enter into the places of pain, to share in brokenness, fear, confusion, and anguish. Compassion challenges us to cry out with those in misery, to mourn with those who are lonely, to weep with those in tears. Compassion requires us to be weak with the weak, vulnerable with the vulnerable, and powerless with the powerless. Compassion means full immersion in the condition of being human."
